You don't have any particular agreement about a double of 4, feel free to suggest what you think it should be in the comments. I suspect I would take it as suggesting penalties if opener has a strong NT hand. Now to the poll, what's your next bid?
(after you've voted you can find partner's hand below)
For after you've voted, you can spy on partner's hand and decide whether you're happy. :)
As a bonus follow-up question, how does your action differ if partner has just bid 5H?
ReplyDeleteNot very decisive between 'bidding' and 'not bidding' so far. :)
ReplyDeleteI pass - can be a bad decision, but the partner did not want to ask me about anything, so neither aces nor side tricks seem to be of interest to him: -, AQ109xxx, AKQxx, x is a possible hand.
ReplyDeleteAfter 5 hearts I am likely to bid 6 though.
You have given partner one of my good cards and even then I wouldn't say seven is a terrible contract on that hand (though if partner put down that hand you'd be disappointed).
DeleteIt looks like I've over-ruled by the majority of voters opting to pass though. Oh well.
